Job Description – Spare Parts Sales Executive (Agricultural Implements)Job Purpose
The Spare Parts Sales Executive is responsible for driving spare parts sales through dealers, distributors, and direct customers while ensuring timely availability of genuine spare parts. The role focuses on increasing aftermarket revenue, maintaining strong dealer relationships, identifying market opportunities, and providing excellent customer support for agricultural machinery.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual spare parts sales targets.
- Promote and sell genuine spare parts for agricultural implements such as Rotavators, Seed Drills, Cultivators, MB Ploughs, Potato Diggers, Hay Rakes, Slashers, Mulchers, Power Weeders, and other farm equipment.
- Develop new dealers, distributors, retailers, and spare parts counters within the assigned territory.
- Increase spare parts penetration among existing customers.
- Conduct regular dealer and customer visits to generate repeat business.
Dealer & Customer Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, mechanics, service centers, and end users.
- Assist dealers in identifying fast-moving and slow-moving spare parts.
- Resolve dealer complaints related to spare parts availability, pricing, warranty, and delivery.
- Conduct product and parts awareness programs for dealers and mechanics.
Inventory & Order Management
- Collect spare parts orders from dealers and customers.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor stock availability and recommend replenishment of fast-moving items.
- Follow up on pending orders and backorders.
Market Intelligence
- Gather information on competitor pricing, products, and promotional activities.
- Identify market trends and customer requirements.
- Submit regular reports on sales performance, dealer feedback, and market developments.
Payment & Collection
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from dealers.
- Coordinate with the finance department regarding account reconciliation and credit limits.
Reporting
- Prepare daily call reports, weekly sales reports, tour reports, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Maintain accurate customer and dealer records in the CRM/ERP system.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in spare parts sales, aftermarket sales, dealer development, or agricultural machinery sales.
- Experience in agricultural implements, farm machinery, tractors, or automotive spare parts is preferred.

Salary
- As per company standards (based on experience and territory).
- Performance incentives, TA/DA, mobile reimbursement, and travel allowance as applicable.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
