Job Title: OPD Assistant
Department: Outpatient Department (OPD)
Location: Hospital/Healthcare Facility
Job Responsibilities:
- Register patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Manage OPD appointments, tokens, and patient flow.
- Assist doctors and nursing staff during OPD consultations.
- Guide patients and attendants regarding departments, investigations, and procedures.
- Handle OPD files, prescriptions, reports, and other documentation.
- Coordinate with reception, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Ensure the OPD area is organized and patients are attended to promptly.
- Handle basic computer/data-entry work and hospital software.
- Provide polite and professional assistance to patients and attendants.
Eligibility:
- 12th pass / Graduate preferred.
- Hospital/OPD experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Freshers may be considered depending on hospital requirements.
Key Skills: Patient handling, communication, computer knowledge, documentation, appointment management, teamwork, and customer service.
Typical Working Hours: Full-time; shift duties may be required depending on the hospital.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
