We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Midwifery OSCE Trainer (UK NMC registered or OSCE passed) to join our growing academic team. This is a flexible remote position with excellent opportunities for professional growth and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging live online Midwifery OSCE training sessions.
- Support learners through structured teaching, demonstrations and clinical discussions.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve candidate performance.
- Assist in developing and updating training materials in line with current NMC standards.
- Participate in mock OSCE assessments where required.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, professionalism and learner support.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC UK).
- Have been in clinical practice as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse within the last 3 years.
- Hold a relevant nursing or midwifery degree.
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Be confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.
Desirable
- Previous OSCE teaching or mentoring experience.
- Experience supporting internationally educated healthcare professionals.
- Experience delivering online training or presentations.
