We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical field professional to join our team in Kolkata. This is a 100% field-based role focused on developing relationships with retail pharmacies and driving business growth.

Please Note: This is an active field sales position. Candidates with experience limited only to retail pharmacy counter sales (working inside a medical store) will not be considered.Key Responsibilities
- Market Coverage: Visit assigned retail pharmacies on a daily basis to maintain a consistent presence.
- Relationship Management: Develop new pharmacy accounts and strengthen existing relationships with pharmacy owners and key decision-makers.
- Sales Generation: Drive regular orders for ethical (branded) medicines and increase product penetration within your assigned territory.
- Business Development: Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand our market reach.
- Market Intelligence: Collect and report insights regarding competitor activity, pricing, and product movement.
- Operational Coordination: Coordinate with the internal operations team to ensure seamless order processing and timely deliveries.
- Reporting: Submit accurate daily activity reports and attend weekly strategy/review meetings.
- Targets: Consistently achieve monthly sales and business development goals.
Candidate RequirementsMandatory
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative (MR), Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, or in a field-based pharmaceutical business development role.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of visiting retail pharmacies and successfully developing business relationships.
- Transportation: Must own and regularly use a two-wheeler (bike) and possess a valid driving license.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Tech Skills: Basic smartphone proficiency for digital reporting and communication.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Preferred
- An existing, active network of chemist/pharmacy contacts within Kolkata.
- Specific experience working with ethical/branded medicines.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and highly target-oriented mindset.
Pay: ₹10,694.46 - ₹15,000.00 per month
