About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Concurrent Auditor with strong exposure to Bank Audits to perform concurrent audit assignments of banking operations. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing transactions, verifying compliance with RBI and bank guidelines, identifying irregularities, and reporting audit observations within prescribed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct concurrent audit of bank branches and banking operations as per the prescribed audit scope.
- Verify cash transactions, cash balance, vault operations and ATM-related transactions.
- Review loan and advance transactions, including sanction, documentation, disbursement, monitoring and compliance.
- Examine fresh sanctions, renewals, enhancements, restructuring and closure of loans.
- Verify compliance with KYC/AML norms, RBI guidelines and internal bank policies.
- Check deposit accounts, savings/current accounts, term deposits and related transactions.
- Review NPAs, overdue accounts, SMA accounts and recovery-related transactions.
- Verify interest calculation, charges, penal interest and other banking income.
- Check exception reports, suspense accounts, sundry accounts and clearing transactions.
- Review LC, BG, bills, remittances and other non-fund-based transactions, wherever applicable.
- Verify compliance with maker-checker controls and delegation of powers.
- Identify irregular, unusual or high-risk transactions and report them promptly.
- Check branch expenses, stationery, security items and other administrative transactions.
- Verify stock statements, insurance, security documents and other loan-related records.
- Review adherence to internal circulars, SOPs, RBI regulations and applicable banking guidelines.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly audit observations and reports as required.
- Discuss audit observations with branch officials and ensure timely resolution of irregularities.
- Maintain proper working papers and supporting documentation for all audit observations.
- Coordinate with the audit team, Branch Manager and concerned bank officials for completion of the assignment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and bank audit procedures.
- Good understanding of RBI guidelines, KYC/AML requirements and banking regulations.
- Ability to identify financial, operational and compliance risks.
- Strong analytical and verification skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise audit reports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
Educational Qualification
- CA / CA Inter / CMA / CMA Inter / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with relevant Bank Audit / Concurrent Audit experience will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Concurrent Audit, Bank Audit, Internal Audit or Branch Audit.
- Candidates having prior experience with Public Sector Banks, Private Sector Banks or Banking Audit assignments will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate: A professional with practical experience in Concurrent Audit/Bank Branch Audit, good knowledge of banking processes and the ability to independently handle audit assignments.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
