Role Objective
We are looking for a result-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to lead the temple's digital promotions and online donation campaigns.
The primary responsibility of this role is to use digital platforms to:
1. Promote temple festivals, events and initiatives
2. Increase online donations and seva participation
3. Build and engage the temple's donor database
4. Improve the performance of donation landing pages and campaigns
The person should be strong in performance marketing, campaign execution, creative strategy, landing-page optimization and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Festival & Event Promotions
Plan and execute digital promotional campaigns for:
Sri Krishna Janmashtami
Gaura Purnima
Ratha Yatra
Govardhan Puja
Narasimha Caturdasi
Rama Navami
Vaikuntha Ekadashi
Special temple festivals
Annadana campaigns
Temple projects and other major initiatives
For each campaign, create a complete promotional plan covering:
Campaign Idea → Creatives → Ads → Landing Page → Donation → Follow-up
Campaigns should be planned well in advance, with clear targets, timelines and budgets.
2. Online Donation Campaigns
Take ownership of digital fundraising campaigns.
Promote various seva opportunities such as:
Festival Sevas
Annadana Seva
Deity Sevas
Abhisheka Seva
Pushpa Seva
Alankara Seva
Naivedya / Bhoga Seva
Special Temple Projects
General Donations
The objective is to make it simple, devotional and convenient for devotees to offer seva online.
3. Performance Marketing
Plan, execute and optimize paid campaigns across:
Meta Ads – Facebook & Instagram
Google Ads
YouTube Ads
Retargeting campaigns
Other relevant digital platforms
The manager should continuously optimize:
Audience targeting
Campaign objectives
Creatives
Ad copy
Budgets
Landing pages
Retargeting
Donation conversion
The focus should be on results, not merely reach or impressions.
4. Donation Funnel Optimization
Own the complete donor journey:
Ad / Social Media / WhatsApp

Continuously identify where donors are dropping out and improve the experience.
The donation process should especially be optimized for mobile users and UPI payments.

Work closely with designers and developers to create high-converting landing pages for every major campaign.
Landing pages should have:
Strong devotional visual
Clear campaign message
Seva options
Suggested donation amounts
Simple Donate button
Easy mobile payment
Trust indicators
80G information where applicable
Temple contact details
Proper tracking
The goal should be:
Minimum steps between donor intention and successful donation.
6. Creative Strategy
Take responsibility for the performance of campaign creatives.
Develop concepts for:
Donation posters
Festival posters
Reels
Short videos
WhatsApp creatives
Meta advertisements
YouTube advertisements
Landing-page banners
Donor appeal videos
Coordinate with:
Graphic designers
Video editors
Photographers
Content writers
Temple departments
Creatives should remain devotional, dignified and consistent with temple standards while also being effective for digital promotion.
7. WhatsApp Promotions
WhatsApp should be treated as an important promotional and donor-engagement channel.
Responsibilities include:
Festival announcements
Seva opportunities
Donation appeals
Festival reminders
Donor acknowledgements
Follow-up communication
Segment contacts wherever possible into:
Existing Donors
Previous Festival Donors
Regular Congregation
Temple Visitors
New Leads
High-value Donors
Communication should be relevant rather than sending every message to everyone.
8. Donor Retargeting
A major responsibility will be converting previous donors into repeat donors.
Example:
Someone donated during Janmashtami.
They can later be appropriately informed about:
Govardhan Puja → Gita Jayanti → Gaura Purnima → Narasimha Caturdasi → Next Janmashtami
Build systematic retargeting through:

The objective is to build long-term donor relationships, not only one-time donations.
