Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Centre Manager to take complete ownership of the day-to-day operations and business performance of a learning and training centre.
The Centre Manager will be responsible for driving admissions, revenue, student experience, team performance, operational efficiency, and compliance. The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a small business unit, lead sales and counselling teams, coordinate with faculty, handle student and parent escalations, and make data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate should have strong sales and business management skills, excellent people-management abilities, and be comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace, CRM systems, dashboards, and reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities1. Business & Revenue Management
- Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual admission and revenue targets.
- Monitor enquiry generation, lead pipeline, counselling activity, conversion rates, and collections.
- Prepare and review centre-level budgets, P&L statements, revenue reports, and expense trackers.
- Identify business gaps and implement corrective action plans to improve centre performance.
- Analyse walk-ins, enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and lost leads to improve the admissions funnel.
- Plan and execute local business-development initiatives in coordination with the marketing team.
- Develop partnerships and outreach opportunities with schools, colleges, corporates, and other relevant institutions.
- Drive referral programs, seminars, workshops, events, and other local promotional activities.
2. Admissions & Student Management
- Oversee the complete admissions lifecycle from lead generation and enquiry to counselling, enrolment, onboarding, and fee collection.
- Ensure timely follow-up and effective lead management by the counselling team.
- Maintain accurate CRM and lead-tracking records.
- Monitor batch strength, seat availability, scheduling, and student onboarding.
- Ensure timely and accurate fee collection and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Handle student and parent concerns, grievances, refund requests, deferment cases, and other escalations in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor student attendance, engagement, satisfaction, retention, and overall experience.
- Coordinate with academic and placement teams to ensure students receive the required support throughout their learning journey.
3. Team & Faculty Management
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage centre-level employees including counsellors, front-desk staff, and support personnel.
- Set clear individual and team targets for the counselling and operations teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews based on measurable KPIs and dashboards.
- Coach team members to improve counselling quality, productivity, conversion, and customer handling.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Manage employee attendance, discipline, productivity, and attrition.
- Coordinate with faculty and academic teams for effective faculty allocation, scheduling, and centre operations.
- Build a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team culture.
4. Centre Operations & Administration
- Take ownership of the smooth day-to-day functioning of the centre.
- Ensure classrooms, labs, equipment, systems, and other infrastructure are maintained properly.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for housekeeping, IT support, maintenance, AMC, security, and other operational requirements.
- Ensure adequate availability and maintenance of required equipment, learning resources, and office supplies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, discipline, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, documentation, licensing, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain proper records and ensure the centre is always audit-ready.
5. MIS, Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to management.
- Track and report key business metrics including:
- Enquiries and walk-ins
- Lead follow-ups
- Counselling activity
- Conversion rates
- Admissions
- Revenue and collections
- Outstanding receivables
- Student attendance
- Student retention/attrition
- Team productivity
- Maintain digital records of student, attendance, operational, and financial data.
- Use Google Sheets, Forms, Drive, Docs, Calendar, and other digital tools to ensure transparent and organised centre operations.
- Maintain proper access controls, file organisation, version control, and data confidentiality.
- Use dashboards and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and operational gaps.
6. Marketing & Business Development
- Coordinate with the central marketing team to execute local marketing campaigns.
- Identify opportunities for school/college tie-ups, seminars, workshops, career counselling sessions, and community outreach.
- Support digital and offline lead-generation initiatives.
- Track campaign performance and provide feedback based on lead quality and conversion.
- Develop local referral and networking opportunities to strengthen the centre's admissions pipeline.

- Hands-on knowledge of Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, Forms, Drive, Docs, Calendar, and Meet.
- Working knowledge of CRM/lead-management systems.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business and basic digital marketing/analytics is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Education, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in sales, business management, digital marketing, or related areas will be an advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in centre management, branch management, sales, education, ed-tech, training, retail services, or a similar customer-facing business environment.
- Experience managing a team and owning business/revenue targets is preferred.
- Experience in animation, design, VFX, media, vocational training, or professional education is an advantage but not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on business leader who can independently manage a centre, drive admissions and revenue, motivate a team, maintain strong student relationships, and ensure operational discipline.
The candidate should be equally comfortable speaking with prospective students and parents, reviewing sales dashboards, coaching counsellors, coordinating with faculty, resolving operational issues, and presenting performance reports to senior management.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
