Role Description The Assistant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru. This role supports the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day facility management and business support service operations, ensuring service delivery meets agreed quality, safety, and compliance standards. Responsibilities include coordinating teams across multiple service lines, monitoring performance, managing schedules, and resolving operational issues. The role involves liaising with clients, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and resource planning, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Operations Manager also helps ensure adherence to statutory and certification requirements and contributes to training and development of on-ground staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong operations and facilities management skills, including workflow coordination, resource planning, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess team leadership and people management skills, including supervision of frontline staff, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess client relationship and communication skills, including stakeholder coordination, issue handling, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Candidates should possess basic analytical and reporting skills, including data tracking, report preparation, and use of MS Office or similar tools.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple sites or services, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, facility management, or a related field is preferred; relevant diploma with strong experience may also be considered.
- Experience in integrated facility management, business support services, security, cleaning, or maintenance operations will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance and health and safety practices in operations is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Mangaluru, with flexibility for shift timings as per operational requirements
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
