The company holds ISO 9001, FSC, GRS, C-TPAT, and Social Audit certifications and is investing in digital transformation across production, inventory, and management reporting.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced MIS professional to design, build, and run a cloud-based Management Information System for MIPL end-to-end. This person will own the full lifecycle — from data capture on the factory floor to real-time dashboards for top management — and will integrate the MIS with our existing tools and systems, including Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and our Finsys ERP. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth in cloud-based MIS/BI systems with the practical judgement to build tools that shop-floor staff and senior leadership will actually use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, build, and manage a cloud-based MIS covering production, inventory, procurement, dispatch, and finance-linked data across the organisation.

Integrate the MIS with Google Sheets for day-to-day operational data entry and automation across departments.
—
Build WhatsApp-based data capture and alerting flows so factory and field teams can report and receive updates without needing to log into a desktop system.

Integrate the MIS with Finsys (our current ERP) to ensure a single source of truth across financial and operational data, avoiding duplicate data entry.
—
Design and build dashboards tailored to two distinct audiences — simple, actionable views for factory floor supervisors, and consolidated, decision-ready dashboards for top management.

Create user-friendly input forms and workflows that reduce manual effort and error at the point of data entry.

Own data quality, reconciliation, and audit trails across all connected systems (Google Sheets, WhatsApp, Finsys, and the central MIS).

Work closely with department heads (production, paper store, dispatch, finance, HR) to understand reporting needs and translate them into system features.

Train and support users across the factory and management team to ensure high adoption of the tools built.
—
Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and MIS processes across the company.
—
Maintain documentation and ensure the systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable beyond the individual who builds them.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
—
Strong, hands-on experience designing and running MIS / BI systems on cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, Azure — platform-agnostic, but real depth expected).
Comfortable working with Google Sheets/Apps Script, low-code/no-code tools, and API-based integrations.
Experience integrating disparate systems (ERP, spreadsheets, messaging platforms) into a single reporting layer.
Prior exposure to Finsys or similar ERP systems is a strong plus.

Proven ability to design dashboards that are actually used — clear, role-specific, and decision-oriented rather than data dumps.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is required; experience in printing, packaging, or stationery manufacturing is a strong preference, though not mandatory for an otherwise strong candidate.

Understanding of manufacturing data flows — production planning, inventory/stock movement, dispatch, and how these tie back to financial reporting.

Strong communication skills — able to work with both factory floor staff and senior leadership, and translate between the two.

A builder's mindset — someone who will learn the business deeply, take ownership, and keep improving the system rather than treating it as a one-time project.
GOOD TO HAVE
—
Working knowledge of the printing/publishing production workflow (pre-press, press, post-press, dispatch).
—
Experience with Oracle ERP or similar large-scale ERP systems.
—
Familiarity with automation tools (Apps Script, Zapier/Make, WhatsApp Business API) and basic scripting/SQL.
