Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Marketplace Growth & Exhibitor Success Manager to oversee and grow our client's portfolio of B2B marketplaces. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will be responsible for driving year-round buyer engagement, product enquiries, RFQs, and qualified lead generation for exhibitors across multiple industry sectors.
The role is central to our client's digital growth strategy, ensuring our marketplaces evolve into powerful 365-day sourcing and business generation platforms that deliver measurable ROI to exhibitors beyond the exhibition cycle.
The successful candidate will lead marketplace operations, exhibitor on boarding, buyer acquisition initiatives, content optimization, lead generation campaigns, performance analytics, and platform growth across our portfolio of digital marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all our client's marketplaces.
- Ensure exhibitor profiles, company pages, and product listings are complete, accurate, and optimized.
- Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain marketplace content standards and best practices.
- Ensure all marketplaces remain active, relevant, and regularly updated.
Exhibitor Success & Engagement
- Onboard exhibitors onto the marketplace platforms.
- Train exhibitors on optimizing their profiles, company pages, and product listings.
- Encourage exhibitors to regularly update products, catalogues, videos, and company information.
- Support exhibitors in maximizing enquiries and lead conversion.
- Conduct periodic reviews with key exhibitors and stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to improve exhibitor participation and marketplace adoption.
Product & Content Management
- Review and optimize product listings, descriptions, images, videos, and downloadable resources.
- Ensure content quality and consistency across all marketplaces.
- Implement SEO best practices for products, categories, and supplier profiles.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities for increased visibility.
- Maintain category structures and ensure product data accuracy.
Buyer Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Develop initiatives to increase buyer registrations and sourcing activity.
- Work closely with marketing teams to drive targeted traffic to marketplace platforms.
- Launch campaigns focused on generating product enquiries and RFQs.
- Improve conversion paths and lead capture mechanisms across all platforms.
- Identify and attract key buyers, distributors, procurement professionals, consultants, and decision-makers relevant to each marketplace sector.
- Build year-round engagement strategies that connect buyers and suppliers beyond exhibition dates.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on marketplace KPIs and growth metrics.
- Monitor buyer behaviour, enquiry trends, and conversion performance.
- Produce monthly reports with insights, recommendations, and action plans.
- Use analytics to identify underperforming categories and growth opportunities.
- Present marketplace performance updates and growth recommendations to management.
Marketing & Growth Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing teams on:
o Email marketing campaigns
o SEO initiatives
o Content marketing
o Social media campaigns
o Paid advertising
o Retargeting campaigns
- Support exhibition marketing activities that drive marketplace adoption before, during, and after events.
- Work with event teams to maximize exhibitor participation and marketplace visibility.
Platform Optimization
- Work with technology and product teams to improve marketplace functionality and user experience.
- Recommend enhancements to search, categories, filters, buyer journeys, and enquiry systems.
- Test and implement new features that improve engagement and lead generation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketplace usability and conversion rates.

Skills & Experience:
Essential
- 3–7 years of experience in:
- Marketplace/eCommerce management
- B2B digital platforms
- Digital lead generation
- Online community or supplier platform management
- Experience managing large product catalogues and supplier content.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of SEO and content optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of driving user engagement, lead generation, and marketplace growth.
Preferred
- Experience with B2B marketplaces, sourcing platforms, trade portals, or exhibition related digital platforms.
- Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, or exhibitors.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management processes.
- Understanding of buyer acquisition and digital growth strategies.
- Experience in industries such as healthcare, food manufacturing, entertainment & leisure, printing, packaging, signage, or consumer products is an advantage.

Mission of the Role:

Pay: ₹16,743.98 - ₹40,383.65 per month
