TECHNICAL LEAD / SENIOR FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Location: Patiala, Punjab

We are an established Australian company building our technology and support team in Patiala. We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead or Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who can take ownership of our technology projects and help build and lead a development team.
This is not just a website-maintenance role. We need someone capable of planning, developing and managing complete business systems from start to finish.
Key Projects:
- Develop and improve our company websites and e-commerce platforms
- Build a delivery and truck-dispatch management system
- Develop customer, driver and staff applications
- Create job allocation, live-status and delivery-tracking features
- Integrate websites with accounting, POS, payment and communication systems
- Develop internal dashboards, reporting tools and workflow automation
- Identify opportunities to use AI within customer service and business operations
- Maintain system security, performance, backups and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Plan the system architecture, database and development roadmap
- Handle front-end and back-end development
- Develop secure APIs and third-party integrations
- Test, deploy, monitor and continuously improve applications
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Recruit, train and lead additional developers as the team grows
- Coordinate regularly with the management and operations teams in Australia
- Take full ownership of timelines, quality and project delivery
Required Experience:
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant software-development experience
- Strong full-stack web and application-development skills
- Experience building business applications, dashboards or management systems
- Strong knowledge of databases, APIs, cloud services and system security
- Experience with modern front-end and back-end technologies
- Ability to plan and manage a project from concept through to deployment
- Previous experience leading developers or managing technical projects
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility
Preferred Experience:
- Delivery, logistics, fleet-management or dispatch software
- E-commerce and payment integrations
- Mobile application development
- GPS, mapping or live-tracking integrations
- AI tools, chatbots and workflow automation
- Australian business systems such as Xero, POS or CRM platforms

Important:
This position is suitable for an experienced and hands-on developer who can both write code and lead projects. It is not suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with only basic website-design experience.
