International Operations Consultant | 3–5 Years Experience
The Travel Lane is looking for an experienced International Operations Consultant to join our growing International Operations team.
The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in travel operations, with hands-on experience in international FIT & MICE operations & file handling. The candidate will initially focus on vendor coordination and operational execution, with increasing responsibility for guest handling as they become familiar with our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end international FIT & MICE operations.
- Coordinate with overseas DMCs, hotels, transport companies, activity providers and other vendors.
- Source, negotiate and confirm vendor rates, availability, inclusions, amendments and cancellations.
- Design, prepare and modify detailed international travel itineraries.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed bookings.
- Handle changes, last-minute requirements and operational issues effectively.
- Assist in managing MICE groups, including rooming lists, transfers, activities, meals and special arrangements.
- Maintain accurate booking records, confirmations, costing, vouchers and vendor communication.
- Coordinate visa/documentation requirements wherever required.
- Track payment, confirmation, cancellation and documentation deadlines.
- Identify potential operational issues in advance and proactively provide solutions.
- Take complete ownership of assigned travel files from start to finish.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3–5 years of relevant travel operations experience.
- Experience in international FIT & MICE operations.
- Experience dealing with international DMCs/vendors.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Good command of Hindi.
- Strong professional email-writing and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently communicate with international vendors and eventually guests.
- Good knowledge of international destinations, hotels, transfers, sightseeing and activities.
- Strong itinerary planning and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and email communication.
- Excellent follow-up, organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Professional, presentable and confident in dealing with vendors and guests.
Add-on: Previous experience with Schengen/ UK/USA/Canada/Australia etc. other international visa documentation/coordination will be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is hardworking, proactive, self-motivated and responsible, and who can work independently without requiring step-by-step instructions for routine tasks.
You should be someone who takes ownership, follows up without being reminded, identifies problems before they reach the guest, and looks for solutions rather than simply reporting problems.
The role is suited to someone who wants to grow with the company and gradually take greater responsibility for international operations, vendor management and guest handling.
Salary: 30000/- to 40000/- depending on experience and suitability.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
