Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Sales Coordinator to support our sales and business development activities in the manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with customers, sales teams, production, dispatch, finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales orders.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of sales coordination, order processing, commercial documentation, customer handling, and tendering processes, including preparation and submission of technical and commercial tenders.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Coordination
- Coordinate with the sales team and customers regarding enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and order execution.
- Prepare and process sales quotations, proforma invoices, sales orders, and other commercial documents.
- Follow up with customers for purchase orders, payments, dispatch schedules, and order-related requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, orders, and customer communications.
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Coordinate with logistics/dispatch teams for timely delivery of products.
- Monitor order status and provide regular updates to customers and management.
- Handle customer queries and resolve sales/order-related issues promptly.
- Prepare regular sales reports, MIS reports, order status reports, and pending payment/order reports.
- Maintain strong working relationships with existing customers and support the sales team in business development activities.
Tendering & Bidding
- Identify and monitor relevant government, PSU, private, and institutional tenders.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms, and submission requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical, production, finance, and sales teams for preparation of tender documents.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within stipulated deadlines.
- Ensure all required documents, certificates, declarations, EMD/BG, compliance sheets, and supporting documents are properly arranged and submitted.
- Maintain a database of submitted tenders, bid status, results, and upcoming opportunities.
- Track tender corrigendums, clarifications, amendments, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with customers/tender authorities for pre-bid queries, clarifications, and post-submission requirements.
- Support the sales team in analysing tender requirements, pricing, and commercial conditions.
- Maintain proper documentation of successful and unsuccessful bids for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in sales coordination, sales administration, or commercial operations, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering company.
- Practical knowledge of tendering and bidding processes is mandatory/preferred.
- Good understanding of quotations, purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing, dispatch, and commercial documentation.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical/commercial tender documents.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email communication,
- Experience with SAP software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender and sales deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and strong in follow-up, with the ability to manage multiple customer orders and tender submissions simultaneously.
Candidates with experience in manufacturing, engineering products, industrial equipment, electrical/mechanical products, infrastructure, or B2B sales will be preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
