Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Die Fitter for our automotive manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for die assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting production activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and fitting of progressive dies, press tools, and stamping dies.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of dies and tooling.
- Troubleshooting and rectification of die-related issues.
- Die trials and production support.
- Inspection, repair, and replacement of die components.
- Reading and understanding engineering/tool drawings.
- Ensuring quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
Requirements:
- ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making.
- 2–8 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Press Shop, or Tool Room.
- Knowledge of Progressive Dies, Press Tools, and Sheet Metal Stamping.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
