Job Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial performance, monitoring manufacturing costs, preparing budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and supporting management with data-driven financial insights. The role ensures effective cost control, profitability analysis, and financial compliance to improve operational efficiency within the manufacturing unit.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
- Prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Cost Analysis
- Analyze manufacturing costs including:
- Raw Material Cost
- Labour Cost
- Overhead Cost
- Production Cost per Unit
- Monitor standard costing and actual costing.
- Conduct product-wise and department-wise profitability analysis.
- Recommend cost reduction initiatives.
Manufacturing Performance Analysis
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as:
- Production Efficiency
- Machine Utilization
- Material Yield
- Inventory Turnover
- Capacity Utilization
- Analyze production losses and wastages.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Generate dashboards for senior management.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Present financial insights to management.
Inventory & Working Capital Analysis
- Analyze inventory valuation and stock movements.
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Track working capital and cash flow.
- Support inventory audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, and operations for budgeting.
- Prepare rolling forecasts.
- Analyze budget deviations.
Business Analysis
- Conduct feasibility studies for new products and projects.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals.
- Perform break-even analysis and ROI calculations.
- Support strategic business decisions through financial modeling.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies.
- Support statutory and internal audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for financial analysis.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
