Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Linux System Administrator with exposure to AWS Cloud. The candidate will be responsible for server management, network setup, system monitoring, and cloud-based backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
System & Server Management:
- Set up and configure servers and desktops
- Install and manage operating systems such as Windows and Ubuntu
- Configure package management tools (YUM/APT)
- Install and maintain application stacks such as LAMP
- Manage services including DNS, DHCP, MySQL, Apache, Firewall, and FTP
Network Management:
- Plan, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve local area network (LAN) issues
Hardware & Software:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop issues (Linux/Windows)
- Install and configure hardware and software components
- Maintain IT equipment and ensure optimal performance
Monitoring & Backup:
- Monitor server performance and system health
- Set up and manage automated backups for servers and local systems on AWS
- Ensure data security and system reliability
Cloud Management:
- Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu)
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, MySQL, Apache, Firewall, and FTP
- Experience in troubleshooting LAN/network issues
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and networking
- Basic hardware troubleshooting knowledge
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
