Job Title: E&I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation Technician) & Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced E&I Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems in a Ductile Iron Pipe, Steel, Iron, or Heavy Engineering manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment availability, process reliability, and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate field instruments and electrical systems.
- Maintain motors, MCCs, control panels, VFDs, soft starters, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
- Maintain and calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, sensors, switches, and control valves.
- Assist in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS troubleshooting.
- Perform cable laying, termination, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams.
- Support shutdown, commissioning, and plant improvement projects.
- Coordinate with Production, Mechanical Maintenance, and Quality teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records and calibration reports.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures.

- Steel Manufacturing
- Integrated Steel Plants
- Iron & Foundry Industry
- Blast Furnace Operations
- Captive Power Plants
- Cement Plants
- Heavy Engineering Industries
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Hands-on experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and field instruments.
- Familiarity with continuous process industries.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Pay: ₹11,040.28 - ₹41,331.64 per month
