The Vice Principal will support the Principal in providing academic leadership, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning, maintaining discipline, and overseeing the day-to-day academic and administrative operations of the school. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong Science background and proven leadership experience in a CBSE/ICSE school.
Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership
- Assist the Principal in implementing the school's academic vision and strategic objectives.
- Monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning across all grades.
- Guide teachers in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and classroom management.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE/ICSE guidelines and academic standards.
- Analyze student performance data and develop improvement strategies.
Faculty Management
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate teaching staff.
- Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
- Support teacher recruitment, induction, and performance management.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork among faculty members.
Student Development
- Promote discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Address student academic and behavioral concerns.
- Support student counseling, leadership, and co-curricular development.
- Ensure student safety and well-being on campus.
School Administration
- Assist in planning the academic calendar, examinations, and school events.
- Coordinate admissions, orientation, and parent engagement activities.
- Monitor attendance, timetables, and daily school operations.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and statutory requirements.
Parent & Community Relations
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication.
- Handle parent concerns professionally and promptly.
- Represent the school during meetings, events, and community outreach initiatives.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor academic outcomes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support accreditation, inspections, and quality audits.
- Ensure effective implementation of school policies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, or related discipline).
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- M.Ed. is preferred.
- Minimum 8–12 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in an academic leadership role such as Academic Coordinator, Head of Department, or Vice Principal.
- Experience in a CBSE/ICSE affiliated school is preferred.
