Key Responsibilities
- Design and execution of plant electrical systems including HT/LT distribution, MCCs, PCCs, cable routing, and earthing systems.
- Selection and commissioning of motors, drives, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
- Development and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, VFD, and SCADA-based automation systems.
- Preparation and review of electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, control panel drawings, and I/O lists.
- Supervision of electrical installation, panel wiring, field instrumentation, and commissioning activities.
- Integration of process equipment, burners, temperature control systems, and safety interlocks.
- Troubleshooting and improving plant reliability and automation performance.
- Coordination with mechanical, process, and instrumentation teams during project execution.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, control panels, and industrial instrumentation.
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting process plants.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and industrial communication protocols.
- Knowledge of PID control loops, temperature control systems, and interlock logic.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in process plants, pyrolysis plants, biomass projects, furnaces, or thermal systems.
- Strong understanding of plant automation and control philosophy.
- Ability to independently handle projects from design through commissioning.
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with good team coordination skills.
