Job Summary
The HR Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, training, and HR operations to ensure smooth functioning of the hospital workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & On-boarding
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for medical, nursing, paramedical, and non-medical staff.
- Coordinate interviews, salary negotiations, and joining formalities.
- Conduct induction and on-boarding programs for new employees.
Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain positive employee relations and workplace culture.
- Handle warning letters, memos, and employee counselling.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and shift rosters.
- Prepare monthly HR MIS reports and manpower reports.
Performance Management
- Monitor employee performance appraisal processes.
- Track KRA and KPI implementation.
- Support department heads in employee evaluations.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain NABH and hospital HR documentation.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
- Conduct orientation and policy awareness sessions.
Payroll & Administration
- Coordinate payroll processing and final settlements.
- Monitor employee benefits and compensation processes.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospital HR operations and labour laws.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HRMS software and MS Excel.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience (Minimum 1 year in Hospital HR)
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, compliance, and HR MIS reporting.
