About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Analyst with 4-5 Years of experience in the Indian equity and derivatives markets. The candidate will be responsible for market analysis, identifying actionable trading opportunities, and providing well-defined entry, target, stop-loss and risk-reward levels.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct technical analysis of stocks, Nifty, Bank Nifty and sectoral indices across multiple timeframes.
· Identify intraday, swing, BTST and positional trading opportunities.
· Analyze price action, trends, support/resistance, volume and momentum.
· Analyze Futures & Options, including Option Chain, Open Interest, Change in OI, PCR, IV, Futures basis, long/short buildup and short covering.
· Generate actionable Buy/Sell recommendations with entry, target, stop-loss, holding period and risk-reward.
· Develop stock screens for breakouts, momentum, volume expansion, 52-week highs/lows and moving-average crossovers.
· Backtest trading strategies and monitor win rate, profitability, drawdown, risk-reward and expectancy.
· Maintain and analyze the performance of all recommendations.
· Communicate market views and trade ideas effectively to clients, dealers, RMs and internal teams.
· Continuously monitor existing positions and provide timely updates/recommendation changes.
Required Skills
Technical: Price Action, Candlestick Patterns, Trend Analysis, Support & Resistance, Breakouts, Momentum, Volume Analysis, Fibonacci, Multiple Timeframe Analysis.
Derivatives: Futures, Options, Option Chain, OI Analysis, PCR, IV, Option Greeks and basic options strategies.
Data & Analytics: Advanced Excel; knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, TA-Lib and backtesting will be an advantage.
Education & Certifications
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
· MBA/PGDM Finance, CFA, CMT or CFTe preferred.
· NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives is an added advantage.
Candidate Profile
· 2–4 years of relevant experience in Technical Analysis, Equity Research, Stock Broking, Trading Desk, Investment Advisory or Capital Markets.
· Strong understanding of the Indian stock market and derivatives market.
· Ability to independently generate high-quality trade ideas.
· Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
· Excellent understanding of risk management and position sizing.
· Ability to work effectively during live market hours and under time-sensitive conditions.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
