About Modular Pulse
Modular Pulse is a specialist precast concrete group headquartered in India. We operate across structural design and engineering, and full-scope execution — factory setup, manpower deployment, and mobile precast for large or remote projects.
Our machinery division, Modular Cast, supplies specialised precast production equipment across India, the GCC, and Africa. Across every service, we bring the kind of technical depth that only comes from having built, designed, and delivered precast at scale on landmark projects across India, the Middle East, and Africa.
Role Summary
The Business Relations Manager will serve as Modular Pulse's primary external representative in high-stakes client meetings, institutional presentations, and strategic business development engagements. This is a high-visibility, travel-intensive role built for someone who can walk into a room of senior decision-makers — defence officials, government stakeholders, infrastructure heads, or C-suite executives — and command it with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
This is not a desk role. It is a presence role. You will be briefed thoroughly before every engagement; deep technical knowledge of precast is not required. What is required is the ability to represent the company with authority, build relationships that last beyond a single meeting, and ensure every external touchpoint reflects the quality and credibility of the Modular Pulse brand.
Key Responsibilities
External Representation & Presentations
Attend and lead client-facing meetings, institutional briefings, and business development presentations on behalf of or alongside the CEO
Deliver structured company presentations to senior stakeholders including defence establishments, C-level Executives, infrastructure developers, and government bodies
Represent Modular Pulse at industry events, trade visits, site walkthroughs, and formal introductions across India and internationally
Adapt communication style and register to the audience — from boardroom to site visit, formal briefing to networking reception
Relationship Management
Build and actively maintain relationships with key contacts and decision-makers post-meeting
Act as the primary point of contact for prospects and institutional clients from first engagement through to handover to the technical or commercial team
Manage follow-up communication professionally and promptly - ensuring no relationship goes cold after a meeting
Track relationship health and flag high-priority contacts for CEO attention or strategic follow-up
Pre-Engagement Preparation
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, strategy, marketing) to prepare briefing notes, capability decks, and presentation materials ahead of each engagement
Research client background, institutional context, and stakeholder hierarchy before meetings to ensure fully prepared entry
Ensure all collateral, presentations, brochures, credentials are current, accurate, and aligned with company positioning before any external engagement
Travel & Schedule Management
Be available for frequent pan-India travel with occasional international travel to GCC and Africa markets as required
CRM & Internal Reporting
Maintain clean, up-to-date records of all external engagements, meeting outcomes, contacts, and next steps in the CRM.
Debrief internal stakeholders promptly after every external meeting with a structured summary of discussion, outcomes, and action items
Provide regular updates to the CEO on relationship pipeline status, upcoming engagements, and market intelligence gathered during field visits
What We're Looking For
Non-Negotiables
Exceptional executive presence. You carry yourself with confidence in rooms.
Outstanding communication skills — articulate, structured, and compelling in English; proficiency in Hindi is a strong advantage
Polished professional appearance and demeanour — every interaction reflects on the Modular Pulse brand
High emotional intelligence - able to read the room, navigate protocol, and adjust approach in real time
Willingness and ability to travel extensively —15 to 20 travel days per month is the baseline expectation, not an exception
Self-directed and organised. Capable of preparing, travelling, and executing independently without hand-holding
Good to Have
Prior exposure to defence, government, or institutional client environments
Background in hospitality management, corporate communications, B2B sales, or consulting — where high-authority stakeholder engagement is a core part of the role
Ex-armed forces background (Captain / Major equivalent) — brings natural understanding of protocol, hierarchy, and institutional culture
Experience with CRM tools and structured reporting
Comfort with presentation tools — PowerPoint, Canva, or similar
Work Location: In person
