Position: CAD Designer
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for drone components and related engineering projects while working closely with our design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar tools.
- Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and engineering requirements to develop accurate designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet quality and manufacturing standards.
- Modify and update drawings based on design revisions and feedback.
- Prepare technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and design specifications.
- Maintain organized records of design files and documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards, manufacturing requirements, and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in 3D modeling, rendering, and simulation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Experience in drone, robotics, UAV, or product design projects will be an added advantage.
- CAD certification is a plus.
