Job Responsibilities
- Dispute Prevention – Understanding of dispute prevention methodologies including negotiations, mediation and other pre-litigation processes. Focus to provide business advisories in terms of legal solutions/inputs in tight timelines.
- Litigation Handling - Dealing with litigation or other proceedings before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities including but not limited to tribunals, High court, Supreme Court, regulatory authorities.
- Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with internal teams (viz. service, supply chain, marketing and sales, procurement, human resource, finance etc.) as well as external lawyers/law firms. Should demonstrate ability of in working with cross functional teams and external
- Drafting Expertise – Drafting of legal notices, undertakings, cease and desist notices, petitions, appeals, reply to notices from enforcement agencies.
- Regulatory Interaction - Ability and experience in interacting with investigation agencies, police officers, regulators and other government officials and responding to their queries/notices.
- Domain Knowledge - Sound knowledge of Competition Law, IBC, Consumer Law, Customs Law, Contracts, and upcoming new laws and related dispute mechanism/ litigations. Hands-on experience in regulatory disputes will be an added advantage.

- Should have excellent analytical, execution skills and practical experience of handling litigation before various forum.
- Must be familiar with roles & responsibility of an in-house counsel and able to work in close knitted team.
