Job Summary: The Travel Sales Executive is responsible for selling travel packages, tours, and related services to clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, strong sales skills, and the ability to create personalized travel experiences that meet clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements, and provide tailored recommendations and solutions.
Booking and Reservations: Manage the booking process from start to finish, including making reservations, issuing tickets, and handling changes or cancellations.
Market Research: Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and industry news to provide clients with accurate and current information.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and performance metrics.
Documentation: Prepare and process all necessary documentation related to travel arrangements, including visas and travel insurance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is a plus.
Skills:
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of travel destinations, travel regulations, and booking systems.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
