Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant to join our FMCG company. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of accounting experience and possess strong knowledge of day-to-day accounting operations, financial record keeping, and inventory-related accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
- Monitor inventory transactions and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an FMCG company.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (such as Tally ERP, Busy, SAP Business One, or similar).
- Good understanding of GST/VAT and basic taxation (as applicable).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with inventory and warehouse accounting.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary
Salary will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
