HR Manager – Job Overview
An HR Manager oversees the human resources department, ensuring that hiring, training, compliance, and employee relations run smoothly. They act as a strategic partner to leadership and a support resource for employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage full-cycle recruitment (job postings, interviews, hiring).
- Develop talent acquisition strategies.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs.
2. Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct investigations when necessary.
3. Performance Management
- Implement performance review processes.
- Work with managers to develop improvement plans.
- Track KPIs and workforce productivity.
4. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps.
- Organize workshops, training programs, and leadership development.
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer payroll processes.
- Recommend salary structures and benefit packages.
- Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
6. Compliance & HR Policies
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Create and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Manage audits and recordkeeping.
7. HR Strategy & Planning
- Workforce planning and budgeting.
- Implement HR technologies (HRIS systems).
- Support organizational change management.

Qualifications

Typical Experience Required
- 3–7 years in HR roles (HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Specialist, etc.)
- Prior experience in handling employee relations or management responsibilities.
General Salary Range (varies by region)
- HR Manager: 25000.00 – 30000.00
- HR Executive: 15000.00 – 20000.00
