Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical & Mechanical Technician to handle the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems at our facility in Palakkad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial equipment and systems, with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain control panels, starters, and distribution boards.
- Operate and service PLC, VFD, and automation panels.
- Maintain equipment including chillers, vacuum pumps, air compressors, motors, and starter panels.
- Conduct wiring, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Ensure minimal equipment downtime and coordinate with production teams.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and electrical documentation.
- Follow safety regulations and ensure compliance with electrical standards.
- Willingness to travel to other manufacturing units.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, VFD, Panel Boards, Motors, Starters, FIX Systems.
- Familiar with the operation and maintenance of chillers, vacuum systems, and air compressors.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance standards.
