Senior SAP ABAP & HANA Modeling Consultant (CDS | AMDP | BW/BPC/Datasphere – Plus)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP & HANA professional to join our team in Trichy. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in ABAP development, HANA modeling, AMDP, and CDS views, with exposure to BW/BPC or SAP Datasphere considered a strong plus. This is a senior-level role suited for someone who can work independently, mentor junior developers, and contribute to end-to-end SAP technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs, enhancements, and custom developments
- Build and maintain HANA data models (Calculation Views, Table Functions)
- Develop and optimize AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for high-performance data processing
- Create and manage CDS Views (Core Data Services) including annotations and associations
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of existing objects
- Work on BW/BPC or SAP Datasphere integration where applicable
- Ensure adherence to SAP development best practices and coding standards
- Support project documentation, unit testing, and knowledge transfer
Required Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Strong expertise in HANA Modeling (Calculation Views, Analytic Views)
- Proven experience with AMDP and CDS Views
- Solid understanding of SAP HANA architecture and performance optimization
- Ability to work independently on complex technical requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP BW (Business Warehouse)
- Exposure to SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
- Familiarity with SAP Datasphere
- Experience with OData services and Fiori/UI5 integration
- Exposure to S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules preferred
