Job Title: Chief Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance and smooth operation of the school's infrastructure and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all campus maintenance activities.
- Supervise electricians, plumbers, gardeners, housekeeping, and maintenance staff.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG, and water systems.
- Plan preventive maintenance and handle emergency repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure safety standards and statutory compliance.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil).
- 5+ years of maintenance or facility management experience.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in schools, hospitals, or large campuses is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Arcot, Tamil Nadu (Arcot): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
