I am a highly accomplished Medicinal Chemist and Drug Discovery Scientist with over 18 years of combined academic, industrial, and research experience in the areas of medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, anticancer drug discovery, kinase inhibitor development, heterocyclic chemistry, and analytical chemistry.
My research expertise includes the design and synthesis of novel bioactive molecules, lead optimization, structure-based drug design, and biological evaluation of therapeutic candidates. I have successfully led a ₹36 lakh Government-funded research project as Principal Investigator under the DST–WOSA program, resulting in the development of 25 novel compounds, 6 Indian patent publications, and 28 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
I have extensive experience in interdisciplinary research collaborations, scientific project management, mentoring researchers and students, and translational research activities with applications in oncology, inflammation, and therapeutic drug discovery.
