About the Role
QHT Clinic is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager to oversee the organization's financial operations, statutory compliance, accounting processes, and reporting. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, taxation, payroll coordination, financial planning, and team management while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and internal financial controls.
Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and fund utilization.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Handle notices, assessments, and reconciliations related to taxation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Monitor receivables and coordinate with departments for timely collections.
- Verify invoices, payment approvals, and expense documentation.
Payroll & Finance Coordination
- Coordinate payroll processing with the HR department.
- Ensure accurate salary disbursement, statutory deductions, and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain payroll-related financial records.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Monitor departmental budgets and analyze variances.
- Recommend cost-control measures to improve profitability.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and compliance processes.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the Accounts team.
- Allocate work, review performance, and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance processes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 100% timely closure of monthly accounts.
- 100% compliance with GST, TDS, and statutory filing deadlines.
- Zero major audit observations due to accounting errors.
- Timely vendor and employee payments.
- Accurate monthly MIS reporting.
- High accuracy in financial records and reconciliations.
- Effective budget monitoring and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- M.Com, CA (Inter), CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in healthcare, hospital, or clinic operations will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹19,851.85 - ₹40,000.00 per month
