Role Overview
We are looking for a driven, personable, and technically confident Retail Sales Associate to be the face of our Bangalore Experience Center. This is not a typical retail role. You will be engaging with architects, interior designers, developers, and high-net-worth homeowners — explaining complex AV and automation systems in a way that is clear, compelling, and credible. Alongside managing in-center client interactions, you will also spend time in the field, building relationships with dealers, architects, and design professionals across Bangalore.
Key ResponsibilitiesExperience Center & Client Engagement
- Greet, engage, and qualify walk-in visitors and scheduled prospects at the Experience Center.
- Conduct immersive product demonstrations covering home theatre systems, multi-room audio, lighting control, and smart home automation.
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions from our portfolio of premium brands.
- Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to drive demo bookings and conversions.
- Maintain the Experience Center in showroom-ready condition at all times.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure all demo systems are operational and up to date.
Field Outreach & Business Development
- Conduct weekly visits to meet and build relationships with architects, interior designers, and AV dealers across Bangalore.
- Introduce Avenue Sound's product portfolio and Experience Center to new trade contacts.
- Identify and cultivate referral partnerships with design and construction professionals.
- Represent Avenue Sound at industry events, trade shows, and partner open houses as required.
- Maintain a structured record of all trade contacts, meetings, and follow-ups in the CRM.
Sales Process & Reporting
- Manage the full sales funnel from initial enquiry to proposal submission, working closely with the design and technical teams.
- Prepare and send quotations in coordination with the sales head.
- Track and report weekly on lead pipeline, demo conversions, and field visit activity.
- Meet monthly revenue and lead generation targets as set by management.
What We Are Looking ForEssential
- 1–4 years of experience in retail sales, luxury products, consumer electronics, or AV systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills — you must be genuinely warm, articulate, and comfortable engaging with premium clientele.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn and explain complex AV and home automation products.
- Self-starter with strong follow-through — you must be able to manage your own schedule and priorities without constant direction.
- Fluency in English and Kannada; Hindi is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Bangalore for weekly dealer and architect visits.
Preferred
- Prior exposure to home automation systems (Control4, Crestron, KNX, or similar) or premium AV brands.
- Existing relationships with architects, interior designers, or property developers in Bangalore.
- Experience selling to HNI or luxury segments.
- Basic understanding of AV system design or acoustics.
