Storage Administrator JD:
Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, implement, document, and support the storage infrastructure.
Building strategies and planning, and implementing solutions for storage and maintenance of data and backing it up.
Responsible for applying patches, upgrading software, and making sure that data is secured.
Implement, upgrade, monitor policies, and procedures to ensure steady storage provisioning, protection of data, and
adherence to compliance.
Maintain the fiber channel switches and SAN arrangements by ensuring that software and firmware are with the latest
needs of an organization.
If there are any damaged parts, replace them.
Work with vendors to fix issues if it can’t be resolved by yourself.
Research new technologies to find out if they suit their organization’s existing infrastructure.
Monitoring the storage area network (SAN).
Resolve storage issues with smart troubleshooting skills.
Administer backup architecture using several solutions.
Set up and maintain documentation of the existing technology and solutions.
Handle resource allocation as per the requirement.
Actively participate in technical meetings to suggest new ways to provide storage with backup options, secured access, and
better efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in network engineering, Computer Engineering, electronics, Science (IT) or EXTC/IT
PREFERRED SKILLS
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Certification in Azure, VMWare virtualization, Microsoft or Linux is advantageous.
Prior experience in tech support (Data Center, Server) or a similar role.
Server Administrator JD:

Install, configure, and maintain various types of server hardware and software (Specially Linux and Windows Server).
Create and maintain Domain Controller and adding clients to the domain.
Creating and maintain user accounts/system accounts through Active Directory.
Carrying out backup and recovery functions.
Make sure team is monitoring the performance of servers at all times.
Help/Guide Configure, manage, and implement operating systems.
Ensures on a daily basis that systems are running efficiently by performing upgrading and maintenance tasks on hardware and software.
Resolving technical problems, ensuring server security, and developing new system structures when necessary.
Should be able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and other related devices.
Create a database of the organization's IT policies and document them and help train staff on the use of new technologies.
Install and Maintain host applications, such as VMWare, Hypervisor, etc.
Install and maintain licenses on VMs, Servers, Operating Systems and maintain the inventor for the same.
Handle daily activities/calls of Servers.
