The SST Teacher is responsible for teaching Social Studies subjects to secondary grade students and helping them develop knowledge of History, Geography, Civics, and related social sciences. The teacher should create engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, awareness, and active participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Studies subjects to students of secondary grades.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver interactive classroom sessions.
- Explain concepts related to History, Geography, Civics, and current affairs.
- Conduct assessments, tests, projects, and assignments regularly.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic reports.
- Encourage discussions, presentations, and analytical thinking among students.
- Use maps, charts, audiovisual aids, and activity-based learning methods.
- Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning environment.
- Provide guidance and support to students for academic improvement.
- Communicate student progress with parents during PTMs and meetings.
- Participate in school activities, examinations, and staff meetings.
- Support co-curricular and social awareness activities organized by the school.
Pay: ₹11,123.60 - ₹40,000.00 per month
