Freelance Video Editor
We are looking for a creative and experienced Freelance Video Editor who understands how to create engaging content for social media as well as long-form platforms.
The ideal person should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, visual aesthetics and current editing trends. We’re looking for someone who can take raw footage and turn it into clean, engaging and premium-looking content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Edit long-form YouTube videos
- Create engaging short clips from podcasts, interviews and long-form videos
- Understand hooks, pacing, transitions, subtitles and retention-focused editing
- Create episode-style and storytelling-led edits
- Stay updated with current social media and video editing trends
- Maintain consistency in editing style and overall brand aesthetics
- Work independently and deliver content within agreed timelines
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience editing Reels, Shorts and YouTube content
- Strong understanding of social-first video editing
- Good sense of storytelling, music, pacing and visual presentation
- Ability to understand different brand styles rather than using the same editing approach for every project
- Comfortable working with feedback and revisions
- Reliable communication and timely delivery
