Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft AX 2012 R2 Retail Support Engineer to join our team at Table Retail Pvt Ltd, a leading multi-brand food and retail business chain. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for Microsoft Dynamics AX installations specifically tailored for the retail industry. This role requires expertise in supporting retail operations using Microsoft AX 2012 R2, with a focus on retail POS configuration and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 retail implementations, with an emphasis on retail POS configuration and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal performance of the retail systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve system problems and minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and customization of Microsoft AX 2012 R2 for retail clients, including retail POS setup and maintenance.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to meet changing business requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, support procedures, and user guides.
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure efficient utilization of the Microsoft AX retail solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and Microsoft Dynamics AX advancements to provide proactive solutions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to address system integration issues and optimize system performance.
- Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 for the retail industry, with a focus on retail POS configuration and support.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and Retail POS for retail-specific requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and related database management tools.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and operations.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a retail environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to train end-users and provide technical guidance in a clear and concise manner.
- Proactive approach towards system improvements and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
