Purpose
As Maintenance Spare Part Coordinator you are responsible for the Spare Parts selection activities for a new project. You coordinate effort across Project, Supply Chain, Vendors, Operation Readiness and Operations teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth start-up of the operations.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for acknowledging deliverables and following up the contract and budget allocated to the Spare Parts Scope
You provide input and follow-up project control scheduling build
You coordinate the project and KPIs set up according to schedule.
You are responsible for on-time completion of the spares data availability in the CMMS.
You coordinate the project Operational and Capital spares selection and procurement process and complete on-time delivery of the spare parts to their final destination.
You ensure activities are completed with consistency and in line with both Client and project requirements while complying with planning, quality, and budget constraints
You set up and keep up to date the Project Spares List including priorities, budget and forecasts figures.
You expedite, review and verify vendor equipment documentation and spares recommendations (SPILs)
You coordinate Spare Parts Coordinators, Admins and Engineers assigned to the project
You are responsible for establishing an integrated relationship with CMMS Delivery project team
You liaise with Package Managers, Project Buyer, Logistics Expeditor, Yard, Shorebase, Storekeepers, Vendors to ensure on time and complete delivery
You develop periodic detailed and high level status/progress reports covering analysis, procurement, delivery, priority and cost forecast
You gather Lessons learned and share with other affected parties while contributing to continuous improvement of Spares selection and procurement processes
You coordinate the handover to Operations team
Education
HNC Level qualification in an associated business or Engineering discipline.
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience of Materials/Inventory Control and Logistics in the offshore oil or marine industry.
Computer literate especially in EXCEL and VBA
