# Job Description: Facility Manager (Residential)

## Role Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Facility Manager to oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of the residence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all home systems and appliances function smoothly, coordinating repair work, and managing vendors/contractors for larger projects.
## Key Responsibilities
*Appliance & Equipment Maintenance*
- Monitor and troubleshoot breakdowns of home appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, geysers, etc.)
- Coordinate timely repairs and servicing with authorized technicians
*HVAC & Electrical*
- Oversee air conditioning maintenance, servicing schedules, and breakdown repairs
- Monitor electrical panels, wiring, and fittings; escalate/resolve faults promptly
- Ensure adherence to basic electrical safety standards
*Plumbing & Water Systems*
- Manage upkeep of water pumps, motors, and plumbing lines
- Address leakages, water pressure issues, and tank cleaning schedules
*Civil & Renovation Work*
- Supervise painting, minor carpentry, and fixture repairs (doors, windows, furniture)
- Coordinate with contractors/vendors for larger renovation or repair projects
- Obtain quotations and ensure quality of work completed
*Vendor & Inventory Management*
- Maintain a list of reliable vendors (electrician, plumber, painter, AC technician, etc.)
- Track maintenance schedules and keep basic records of repairs/expenses
- Procure maintenance supplies as needed
*General Upkeep*
- Conduct periodic walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs proactively
- Ensure common areas, garden, and exteriors are well-maintained
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the household
## Requirements
- Prior experience in facility/property maintenance (residential or commercial)
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and supervise work quality
- Basic record-keeping and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude with a hands-on approach
## Preferred Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field (preferred, not mandatory)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Two-wheeler/driving license (if travel between sites is required)
## Working Hours
