A Two-Wheeler Spare Parts & Service Executive bridges the gap between the dealership's service center and the parts inventory. They ensure mechanics have the right components on time, manage stock levels, and coordinate with customers for service updates and estimates to maintain dealership profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, cataloging, and storage of two-wheeler parts. Track fast-moving items, manage reorder levels, and conduct physical stock audits.
- Service Coordination: Liaise between technicians and customers. Provide accurate cost and time estimates for repairs, and update customers on their vehicle's repair status.
- Vendor & OEM Liaison: Order required spares from the manufacturer, process warranty claims, and return defective or unused parts.
- Sales & Upselling: Recommend genuine accessories, lubricants, and preventive maintenance packages to customers to drive dealership revenue.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly reports on parts consumption, inventory turnover, and non-moving (obsolete) stock.
Ideal Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering, or a Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years in automobile spare parts management or a customer-facing service role, preferably within a two-wheeler franchise.
- Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and dealership management systems (DMS), strong negotiation abilities, and excellent local language and customer service skills
