The Merchandiser will support daily coordination activities, vendor and internal communication, data management, and execution of apparel photo shoots. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in the apparel merchandising industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day coordination with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Manage and track phone calls, emails, and follow-ups related to orders and samples
- Maintain and update merchandising data, reports, and spreadsheets accurately
- Support sample tracking, order status updates, and documentation
- Assist in planning and coordinating apparel photo shoots
- Ensure garments, accessories, and styling requirements are ready for shoots
- Coordinate with photographers, stylists, and internal teams during shoots
- Help organize and maintain product records and visual assets
- Perform any other merchandising-related tasks assigned by the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion, Merchandising, Textile, or related field
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and data handling
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively
- Interest in apparel, fashion, and merchandising
- Basic understanding of garment types and styles is a plus
