About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Plant Head / Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure smooth plant functioning with focus on production, quality, safety, inventory, maintenance, and manpower management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall plant operations, production activities, and manpower to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure product quality standards are met and monitor production efficiency, yield, and batch-wise performance.
- Control inventory, warehouse operations, and material utilization to minimize wastage.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to maximize machine uptime and plant efficiency.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods according to customer requirements.
- Monitor safety practices, statutory compliance, Factory Act requirements, Pollution Control Board regulations, and audit documentation.
- Lead, train, supervise, and develop production teams while maintaining discipline and a performance-driven work culture.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and plant performance metrics for management
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- B.Sc. Chemistry candidates with relevant manufacturing experience may also apply.
Experience
- Plant Head: 10+ years manufacturing experience with minimum 5 years in plant leadership.
- Production Supervisor: 5–8 years manufacturing experience with supervisory exposure.
- Hands-on experience in batch manufacturing and manpower handling is essential.
