Overview:
This individual contributes to the success of PepsiCo by supporting pricing systems and field, Division and Sector teams. Role provides reporting and minor analysis support to Field Sales & Finance teams, as well as manage annual price increases for Division price groups and Key Accounts (KAs). Team will create a strong relationship with Finance & Sales (KAMs, FSRs, Channel Managers). This role requires analytical thinking, flexibility to adapt to changes, proactiveness and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage SPA Box and provide 48hr SLA response to all requests, determining next steps and looping in partner functions as needed

Maintain Customer group names per standards; complete edits as terms change

2x Annual Price Change activities, including but not limited to: Identify expiring groups; work w/ finance for rates, calculate new prices, collect sales tams changes, submit thru approval process, generate mailing lists

2x Annual Nat’l Ftn Price maintenance, including but not limited to: Identify expiring groups, submit pricing based on National guidance, forward thru approval process

Create new price groups as needed, adhering to contractual or finance-provided thresholds and approvals

Manage multi-regional account pricing by partnering w/ Multi-regional coordinator (forwarding emails / issues / projects)

Maintain Customer Groups: moving customers from one group to another, adding customers to “blocked” groups (including HQC managed), adhering to all thresholds and alignments required

Regularly review KA groups to ensure all COFs have same pricing

Provide price sheets to sales upon request via online tool

Provide analysis and recommendations to finance and sales to assist in clean-up & reduction of price groups (YOY pricing, caps, volume/price analysis)

Provide data / analysis for ad hoc pricing reporting requests

Provide explanation and training to sales, including but not limited to: definitions of price groups & products, how to read pricing groups, items, set up, national flag, etc.. Be able to explain down-stream impacts of decisions within pricing

Manage all contractually mandated pricing w/in thresholds of contract, communicate w/ sales and finance as needed on updates / changes, required documentation needed

Manage RFP forms on behalf of sales in VCS locations (currently Central & West Division only)

Ensure business segment is valid and accurate where it exists

Manage wholesale pricing via location reports and/or Siebel inquiries – work with sales and/or finance to determine correct pricing where needed, or determine best price when supportable, and update price group

Manage daily free goods requests, gaining appropriate approvals and submitting requests timely

Update price groups as needed for innovation items per guidance from national / division finance and sales (including some HQC Management)

Add new package configurations to pricing as needed per guidance from national / division finance and sales

Manage special deal creation (i.e., volume hurdle deals, short-term overrides, etc.)

Maintain upcharges for on-ticket pricing in specific markets (Hawaii and Alaska)
Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience as junior/mid-level analytics professional with experience, preferably in a leading consumer goods company

Bachelors in finance or economics

Strong knowledge of MS Office programs specifically Excel

Have 1+ years’ experience using SAP & Oracle platforms

Propensity to learn PepsiCo software systems
