We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable High School Economics Teacher to instruct students in foundational microeconomics and macroeconomics. The ideal candidate will make complex economic theories understandable, relate concepts to current global events, and build students' critical thinking and analytical skills. - Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver interactive lesson plans aligned with educational standards of IGCSE and A levels.
- Instructional Design: Instruct students on economic models, fiscal policies, supply and demand, and market dynamics.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Real-World Application: Connect abstract theories to everyday life and the job market through current events, debates, and financial literacy projects.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages active student participation.
- Student Support: Offer academic advisement and personalized support to students needing extra help.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other faculty and engage with parents to discuss student progress.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field (Master's degree or B.Ed.
- Experience: Proven secondary teaching experience; specific training in AP/IB / A level Economics is a major asset.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong technological proficiency, and deep knowledge of economic principles.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
