Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer relationship management, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial minerals, chemicals, ceramics, paints, or building materials industry.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
Job Summary
The Sales Junior Executive will support the sales team in developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, preparing quotations, coordinating customer requirements, and achieving sales targets. The role involves regular customer interaction, market research, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Coordinate with customers regarding inquiries, orders, deliveries, and product requirements.
- Follow up on sales leads and customer inquiries to support business growth.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports in the ERP/CRM system.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Conduct customer visits and support senior sales personnel during business meetings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and marketing events as required.
- Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Support payment follow-ups and customer account reconciliation in coordination with the Finance team.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication and issue resolution.
Required Skills
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business meetings.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial minerals, chemicals, ceramics, paints, sanitary ware, or related manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of sales documentation, quotations, and order processing will be an added advantage.
