The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant and kitchen areas, assisting the service team, and ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up restaurant tables with cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other dining essentials.
- Assist waiters in serving food and beverages to guests.
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, kitchen, pantry, and service areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and service ware.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of crockery, glassware, and cutlery.
- Refill service stations with napkins, condiments, and other required supplies.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Support banquet and special event setups when required.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and restaurant team to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and courteous service to all guests.
Pay: ₹8,095.03 - ₹25,744.11 per month
