Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Restaurant Host to welcome guests and provide an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate should be confident in explaining the dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, and specialties available in the dining area while ensuring outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with a warm and professional approach.
- Explain the menu, buffet items, daily specials, and signature dishes to guests.
- Provide detailed information about ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended pairings.
- Guide guests in choosing dishes based on their preferences and dietary requirements.
- Coordinate with chefs and the service team to ensure accurate information is shared with guests.
- Maintain a clean and attractive presentation of the dining and buffet areas.
- Address guest queries and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Collect customer feedback and support continuous service improvement.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Indian and international cuisines.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Confident in interacting with guests and explaining menu items.
- Well-groomed personality with a professional appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Fluency in English and Tamil (additional languages are an advantage).
