About Drone Nuggets: Drone Nuggets is an aerial education and experiences company on a mission to unlock the sky for everyone. Our hands-on programs help children and beginners explore aviation, electronics, aerodynamics, RC flight, and drone technology through build kits, guided learning, and live workshops.
Role Overview:
Drone Nuggets is looking for instructors who can make learning feel exciting, practical, and memorable. This is not a typical classroom teaching role. It is a hands-on, high-energy teaching opportunity for people who enjoy working with young learners, love explaining how things work, and want to grow in a modern learning environment.
This role begins on a contractual basis, but it is designed for people who want to build a longer journey with us. Over time, strong instructors can take on more responsibility across workshop delivery, student experience, curriculum input, and program development.
Location: Workshops are currently conducted in Indiranagar, Koramangala, Sarjapur, Cooke Town, and Whitefield. You will primarily be assigned to two of these locations, which can be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on STEM and drone learning sessions for students.
- Teach concepts such as aerodynamics, basic electronics, drones, and aeromodelling in a clear and engaging way.
- Support students during build activities, experiments, and workshop exercises.
- Help set up, manage, and run sessions smoothly and safely.
- Work closely with the team to improve workshop delivery and student experience.
- Share observations and feedback that can help strengthen curriculum and teaching quality.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of STEM concepts (such as aeromodelling, Robotics, or related fields)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify and explain concepts clearly
- Comfortable working with students (schools, workshops, or training environments)
- Responsible, punctual, and organized.
Preferred Skills
- Prior teaching, training, or workshop experience
- Interest in drones, aeromodelling, or hands-on STEM activities
- Ability to manage groups of students effectively
- Basic troubleshooting skills for simple hardware setups
You do not need a degree for this role. What matters most is: A genuine passion for teaching, and a strong thirst for learning.
