1. Position Overview
GLOBALPLUZ is looking for a responsible, technically capable and hands-on Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to manage and supervise project execution at site.
The person will be responsible for ensuring that workers, subcontractors, materials and site activities are properly coordinated and managed, while maintaining quality, safety, timelines and discipline.
The ideal candidate should be able to understand and interpret AutoCAD drawings, take site measurements, coordinate with the project team and ensure that work is executed correctly as per approved drawings and specifications.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Site Management
- Take day-to-day responsibility for assigned project sites.
- Supervise all ongoing site activities and ensure smooth execution.
- Plan and coordinate daily work activities and manpower requirements.
- Ensure workers and subcontractors are properly allocated and supervised.
- Maintain good site discipline, cleanliness and professional working conditions.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, designers and the internal project team.
B. Worker & Subcontractor Management
- Manage and supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
- Ensure workers follow project instructions, drawings and quality standards.
- Monitor attendance and manpower deployment.
- Identify worker-related issues and resolve them promptly or escalate them to management.
- Maintain a professional and respectful working environment at site.
C. Technical Supervision
- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, layouts and technical details.
- Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Take accurate site measurements and verify dimensions before execution.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with designers/architects whenever clarification or modification is required.
- Check levels, alignment, dimensions and workmanship.
D. Quality Control
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Ensure work is completed according to company standards and project specifications.
- Identify defects or poor workmanship and ensure corrective action.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed and ongoing works.
- Maintain proper documentation of quality-related issues.
E. Materials & Site Resources
- Monitor material requirements and usage at site.
- Inform the project team about upcoming material requirements in advance.
- Check materials received at site against requirements.
- Minimize material wastage, damage and unnecessary consumption.
- Maintain proper control of tools and site resources.
F. Project Progress & Reporting
- Prepare and submit daily site updates/reports.
- Track work progress against the project schedule.
- Report delays, material shortages, manpower issues and other site problems immediately.
- Maintain site photographs and progress records.
- Provide accurate updates to the Project Manager / Management.
- Assist in preparing measurements, work records and basic quantity assessments.
G. Safety & Site Discipline
- Ensure workers follow basic site safety procedures.
- Identify unsafe working conditions and take corrective action.
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment wherever required.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
3. Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in construction, interiors, flooring, civil works or project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and layouts.
- Good knowledge of site execution and construction practices.
- Strong manpower and worker-management skills.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Basic knowledge of measurements and quantity calculations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to prepare site reports.
- Ability to use WhatsApp and mobile applications for project communication and reporting.
- Willingness to travel and work at outstation project locations is essential.
4. Preferred Experience

- Overall responsibility and ownership of assigned projects
7. Reporting
Reports To: Project Manager / Operations Manager / Management
The Site Engineer / Supervisor will be expected to maintain regular communication with the management and provide daily progress updates, photographs, manpower status, material requirements and key site issues.
