About the Role
éntisi is a premium Indian artisan chocolate brand with a growing manufacturing facility, retail boutiques ,dark stores and a portfolio that spans everyday SKUs, licensed collaborations, and limited-edition ranges. This role owns quality end-to-end from raw material to finished product and gives the right person the opportunity to design and lead the function as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Standards
- Design SOPs, checklists, and formats for raw material, in-process, and finished goods QC.
- Build a batch traceability system spanning raw material to dispatch, flexible enough for both standard and limited-edition runs.
- Maintain a quality manual that supports audits and B2B/retail partner requirements.
Production Quality
- Inspect incoming materials against spec; monitor in-process adherence to recipe and hygiene standards.
- Own contamination prevention: line clearance, sieve/metal detection, pest control checks.
- Sign off on finished goods - appearance, weight, seal integrity, labelling accuracy before dispatch.
Lab Testing & Shelf Life
- Schedule and track third-party lab testing (microbiological, nutritional, contaminant panels).
- Validate shelf life for new product formats.
Regulatory & Licensing
- Own FSSAI licensing and renewals across all premises.
- Ensure labelling compliance, including re-labeler requirements for contract-manufactured items.
- Keep the facility audit-ready at all times.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead root-cause investigation and CAPA for quality complaints.
- Train production/packing staff on QC checkpoints.

Candidate Profile
Must-haves
- Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Dairy Technology or related field.
- 4–8 years in food manufacturing QC/QA, ideally with a branded food company.
- Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations, licensing, and labelling.
- Experience with batch traceability and lab report interpretation.
Strong plus
- Chocolate, confectionery, or bakery background.
- Experience with seasonal/limited-edition production.
- HACCP or similar food safety framework exposure.
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets-based tracking systems.

- Calm under pressure during audits, complaints, or tight-turnaround launches.

Pay: ₹30,644.27 - ₹69,217.65 per month
